Active in his community and industry, Barthelemy currently sits on the board of Paradise Valley Christian Preparatory. He is an Ambassador to the Veterans Medical Leadership Council and is a board advisor for SEE4Vets. Past advisory positions include board membership with the American Telemedicine Association (ATA), Chair of the ATA’s Industry Council, and board membership with the Visual Communications Industry Group. Barthelemy and GlobalMed give back to the community through generous commitments to programs like Toys for Tots, the Jennifer Lopez Family Foundation, Blanket the City, the Wounded Warrior Project, the Diaper Bank of Central Arizona, the American Heart Association, and the United Blood Services Blood Drive.
Barthelemy attended St. Cloud State University in Minnesota and received an honorable discharge as a non-commissioned officer from the United States Marine Corp Reserves in 1987.
As an expert in the field of occupational medicine, urgent care, telemedicine and utilization review, Dr. Lewis brings more than 30 years’ experience as both a physician and health care executive.
Prior to joining GlobalMed, Dr. Lewis was the Senior Vice President, Medical Operations at Concentra, where he led the development and implantation of Concentra’s 300 Urgent Care Centers. Over the last five years, he focused on Employer Worksite clinics, Wellness and Telemedicine services. Dr. Lewis currently serves in the following organizations: WOEMA Board of Directors and Legislative Committee, Arizona State Industrial Commission Evidence Based Medicine Committee and the American Telemedicine Association Standards and Guidelines Primary Care Working Group.
Dr. Lewis received his BS from University of Cincinnati, medical degree from Ohio State University and did his residency at University of Oklahoma. He received his MBA from University of Phoenix.
Michael Harris is GlobalMed’s chief product theorist and design lead. With over 25 years of strategic patented product design and development and several thriving companies under his belt, Michael Harris is dedicated to the craft of innovative product design philosophies and User Interface theory. As the World-Wide-Web was cutting its teeth in the early 90’s, Mr. Harris was designing websites and developing h.324/323 video conferencing and desktop sharing GUI. Now, with GlobalMed for more then 12 years, Mr. Harris is responsible for software application GUI, Industrial medical device design and futurist for its Telemedical “eNcounter™” shell environment. Together with Joel, they share the same vision in shaping healthcare’s responsiveness and affordability.
Mr. Harris was also a founder and president of several technology companies that include: iREZ Research Corp., which was the first company to introduce a mobile video camera to the Macintosh Laptop; Harris Laboratories, Inc., a fabricator of solid-state memory devices and processor accelerators, and VideoLabs, Inc.,(NASDAQ: VLAB) as the Director of Digital Technologies and Director of Marketing. VideoLabs developed one of the first generations of professional desktop video collaboration and video conferencing applications.
In the late 70’s, Michael was part of the Wisconsin Marathon County Sherriff department EMT Para-recue squad through Explorers Post 444 as well as being an EMT on the Dane County Emergency Preparedness Ambulatory Rescue (EPAs). Michael completed the Electronic Engineering program at North Central Technical Institute, and went on to study Music and Mathematics at the University of Wisconsin and Computer Sciences at the University of Minnesota. He completed post-graduate work while attending Katholieke Hogeschool Brugge-Oostende in Belgium, in Industrial Engineering Sciences.
Professional specialties include: New product insight and vision. Human interface and functional ID. Design processes through the entire development phase - from concepts to components features to circuit board design to 3D modeling and ID to precision manufacturing to strategic marketing strategies that fit the shoes of the user.
As GlobalMed’s Chief Commercial Officer, Manoel brings 14 years in the telemedicine industry with extensive international business experience in more than 30 countries.
Prior to Manoel’s time with GlobalMed he served as Director of Commercial Maritime Sales at MedAire, Inc., an International SOS Company. Along with his sales leadership skills, Manoel's diplomatic and cross-cultural experience allows him to bridge cultural barriers and build strong international partnerships.
Manoel earned his MBA with honors from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona, after completing his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. He is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English.
Neal leads GlobalMed’s North American team of sales professionals, and has been instrumental providing solutions to GlobalMed’s customers that have led to greater access to care with better patient outcomes, while lowering costs. Neal began his career at GlobalMed in 2009 as the Telemedicine Design Manager where he led several successful national telemedicine deployments. He was promoted to the Southwest Regional Sales Manager role and, eventually in a senior leadership position.
Neal attended both Pepperdine University and the University of Arizona where he earned his Bachelor’s Degrees in Science, Biology and Chemistry, which led to his passion into the healthcare industry. Early in his career, Neal gained valuable experience while working in the pharmaceutical, real estate and banking industries.
Brad was the Director of Finance during the initial launch of GlobalMed in 2002. For seven years he served as the Western Regional Sales Vice President for ZipRealty, a top 5 technology-based national real estate public company. Brad has also held senior financial and operational positions in the real estate, manufacturing and internet/high tech industries from start-ups to large entities, and brings strong experience working across B2B customer and OEM partner channels.
As a CPA, Brad spent his early professional career as audit consultant with Arthur Andersen in their Los Angeles and Phoenix offices, where he gained solid public accounting and financing experience in healthcare, real estate, and distribution-based enterprises. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona.
