GlobalMed Simplifies Telehealth for Clinicians with eNcounter Platform

SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ.Feb. 16, 2018 GlobalMed, an international provider of telehealth solutions, today announced it will be showcasing its industry leading telehealth platform, eNcounter Platform, at the 2018 HIMSS Conference & Exhibition, which will be held March 5-9 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The GlobalMed eNcounter Platform is designed to unify vertically integrated hardware and software to simplify telehealth for clinicians. It recently earned the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Authority to Operate (ATO) on DoD networks. This much coveted certification enables GlobalMed to put their virtual health applications, hardware and software directly on the DoD network.

In addition to security, the platform is designed for simplicity. In order to be used effectively, our tools must be simple, easy to learn and never stand in the way of the patient-caregiver relationship, said Gigi Sorenson, Chief Clinical Officer, GlobalMed. Booth demo and raffle giveaways
GlobalMed is a HIMSS18 exhibitor (booth 12316) and will display several of its telemedicine stations, including the Transportable Exam Station used on Air Force One. More than 20 telehealth success stories will be shared spanning federal, medical centers and commercial telehealth deployments.
