Q: Is there support for Windows7?

A:  There is no official driver that has been released at this time.  However, the XP version that is listed
above works with most versions of 7.

Q: I tried plugging the K2R into a different USB port and my PC is not recognizing it.

A: Most PC’s are USB port dependent, meaning which ever USB port the device was plugged into when
the drivers were originally installed will be the port to use.  If the original port is not available for use
then drivers will need to be re-installed.

Q: Installation process for the K2r running on Vista 32.
A:

  1. There is no specified driver for Vista, nor will there be, but the K2r will work using the XP driver and slightly altering the installation process.

  2. The camera will only work in Vista 32-bit environment (emulation mode).

  3. Insert CD driver or download driver from the web and run.

  4. When installation finishes, connect the K2r camera.

  5. Video driver will install automatically, but a "New Hardware Wizard" will appear attempting to install USB Audio.

  6. Click "Locate and install driver software (recommended)".

  7. The USB Audio installation will fail but you can ignore it because the K2r does not have audio anyways.

  8. The K2r should now work.
