Marketing Director

General Description

The Director of Marketing will develop, manage and implement strategic programs and will develop the overall marketing strategy, including go-to-market strategies, positioning, product marketing, brand awareness, lead generation, collateral, PR, corporate communication, website, social media and conferences.. It is essential that the Director, Marketing focus on growing our brands and driving sales by delivering consumer-focused product launches that are laser focused by leveraging internal, and external behavioral data. This leader will ensure GlobalMed products are powerfully launched into the market to connect with users and drive sales. The Director of Marketing must be a strong leader with the ability to drive marketing activities on a company-wide basis, capable of establishing tactical plans and be accountable for results. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Provide strategic leadership in developing and delivering the company vision.
  • Development and execution of integrated Go to Market plans across traditional and emerging channels, using all marketing levers.
  • Use data and insight to steer communication planning with the Product organization. Prioritize target audience/ segment priorities, along with key features that will create differentiation.
  • The candidate will be an independent thinker who can make convincing, information-based decisions
  • Understand and assess core product opportunities (e.g., opportunity size, appeal, differentiation) in order to proactively determine how to best sell and drive demand.
  • Work with research teams to develop consumer insights that inform marketing plans, as well as test the effectiveness of marketing activities.
  • Deliver results and hit deadlines. Take responsibility and ownership of role-related tasks.
  • Generate new solutions that contribute to Brand evolution. Ask questions and challenge the status quo. Contributes to a culture of creativity and idea generation.
  • Works collaboratively with other department heads to hit goals. Builds working relationships with others cross-functionally. Acts in the best interest of the Brand, and others, versus self.
  • Direct marketing programs to create innovative campaigns that build brand awareness, drive leads and increase market share.
  • Leverage your experience while working with multiple departments and customers to develop new ideas, flush out existing practices, and suggest and prioritize product features that meet market demands and customer needs.
  • Develop the marketing and communications strategy and marketing calendar.
  • Create and execute PR activities that result in write ups, reviews, awards, and analyst relationships.
  • Manage the creation/production of all sales support materials including customer/industry case studies, presentations, marketing collateral and other sales-support tools.
  • Create clear and effective copy and presentations that successfully excites and persuades the audience.
  • Create a high performing team that consistently exceeds the expectations of employees, customers, and shareholders.
  • Become an expert user of our product so you can gain a deep understanding of its value proposition and target audience. Gaining this expertise requires being tech-savvy.


  • 7+ years of marketing experience, including 5+ years of building and leading strong teams, bringing new offerings to market, and driving revenue & customer growth.
  • Critical thinking ability for high level planning, analyzing and problem solving.
  • Demonstrated track record of discovering key customer insights into their barrier beliefs/behaviors, creating innovative plans to overcome those barriers to drive purchase/usage and relentless drive for rapidly iterating to continually improve results.
  • Accountability for results: a clear track record of taking ownership for engaging employees, delighting customers and driving dramatic growth through successful marketing strategies and execution, preferably for a company selling SaaS/technology-related solutions and/or Hardware to businesses.
  • Tenacious about peeling the layers to understand customer behaviors and passionate about delighting customers at every touch point.
  • Be a strategic thinker, combining classic strategic marketing skills with experience in multi-channel marketing/distribution of practical products and services.
  • Possess a strong attention to detail, operate effortlessly in a highly dynamic environment and leverage maturity and business acumen to make excellent decisions.

Sales Support Specialist

General Description

GlobalMed is currently looking for a detail oriented Sales Coordinator to join our team! In this key support role, this individual will provide holistic support to the Sales Team, which will include sales administrative support, clerical, administrative, and special project support. You will be required to take the initiative and get involved in many different business responsibilities, so you must be dedicated, ambitious and able to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Additionally, you will provide support on various tasks and projects so reliability and discretion are imperative. This versatile role is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in breaking into the clearing industry. A positive, proactive attitude coupled with critical thinking is key.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Assist with populating the CRM database which includes gathering prospect information and data from various sources including internet researches
  • Assist with the generation of sales collateral including our prospect due diligence deck
  • Assist in expediting and managing new client onboarding and the legal contract process
  • Assist in setting up client visits, scheduling, and setting itineraries
  • Assist sales team and sales quotes and proposals
  • Communicate in person and through correspondence with other employees, senior management and vendors

Senior Staff Accountant

General Description

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Staff/Senior accountant will join the team as the department’s first staff level accountant due to the Company’s growth. Accordingly, this role will require a very hands-on approach by performing a broad range of accounting activities, including having a significant role in our month-end close, ownership of the general ledger, revenue accounting, technical accounting, payroll accounting, policies and procedures and process improvements.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Primary responsibility is to prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to the monthly close schedule.
  • Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures.
  • Analyze revenues, commissions and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
  • Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances.
  • Assist with financial and tax audits.
  • Assist with preparing tax return support and corporate reporting requirements.
  • Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls and processes.
  • Other projects as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of staff accountant experience, ideally with manufacturing and/or product orientated organization
  • Account reconciliation experience of balance sheet and income statement
  • Hands on computer experience with general ledger accounting system is a must
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel is required
  • CPA is preferred, but not required

Registered Nurse, Telemedicine

General Description

Are you looking for a cutting edge opportunity to provide clinical expertise to a leading telemedicine company as telemedicine becomes an integral part the future of healthcare?

This position provides strategic leadership and Product Development for clinical services related to development of clinical workflows and content within the GlobalMed hardware and software solutions for Telemedicine. This position promotes a professional practice environment and develops and maintains collegial and collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders across the industry to positively impact the business of clinical operations and patient care outcomes. These partnerships include ongoing collaboration with physicians, healthcare executives, administrators, organizational and industry leaders. Responsibilities include all aspects of clinical operations, clinician and ancillary education, customer service, financial outcomes, quality outcome management and regulatory compliance.

Essential Functions

  • Reports to Chief Medical Officer and works to review develop and refine clinical content for all GlobalMed services and products. Involved in Quality assessment and CQI within the clinical scope.
  • Provides leadership in the development, implementation and evaluation of workflow patterns for clinical integration of the software platform into hospital and clinical sites. Works with the Chief Technology Officer to design best in class and functional solutions for integrated products that improve clinical efficiencies and operations.
  • Works with the VP of Business Development, marketing and sales in responding to RFP’s performing client demo’s and sales calls. Presentation, speaking and client engagement activities as needed to promote product deployments.
  • Manages the Education Department to ensure that all training protocols including: client site training, virtual training and online learning management system, are clinically relevant and appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BSN or MSN required
  • Must possess a strong knowledge of healthcare as normally obtained through the completion of a Master’s degree in nursing or healthcare administration, as normally demonstrated through 5-7 years of progressive care management experience. Requires demonstrated experience leading and/or managing strategic clinical operations. Requires strong written and oral communication skills. Must demonstrate strong decision-making and critical thinking skills along with the ability to lead change.
  • Good technical IT, database, EMR or Practice Management systems skills desirable but not mandatory. Nursing Informatics training preferred.

Trainer/Telemedicine Specialist

General Description

The Trainer/telemedicine Specialist will perform installation, troubleshooting and repairs of audio-visual based integration systems within hospital environment.  Beyond performing upgrades, this role will be responsible for basic training on the devices as needed.  This will require a road warrior, typically coming home on weekends and likely traveling out of state about 80-90% of the time.  Additionally, when not performing installations, this individual will go onsite to conduct full training sessions on GlobalMed’s products and services.

Main Responsibilities

  • As a customer facing role, responsible for achieving customer satisfaction in the installation process by meeting established deadlines as well as quality and efficiency standards.
  • Follow technical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, document upgrades and repairs according to quality standards.
  • Travel domestically, 90% of the time, mostly 5 days a week.
  • Conduct training (in person and online) for small groups of medical professionals on use of medical equipment and devices.
  • Continued demonstration of competence in technical installation and service of AV and data communications systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex audio, visual, switching and control system when situations arise that are not expected.
  • Develop a collaborative relationship with customers.

Required Skills

  • Solid understanding of audio visual, display and video conferencing equipment, applications and functionality.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with small groups of people, both in person and online.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Keen problem-solving skills, with a knack for successfully solving issues when unexpected problems arise.
  • Must hold a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record, and must pass background check and drug screen
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft ecosystem including Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of basic hospital procedures or etiquette preferred
  • Experience with audio visual, IT installation/integration &/or medical equipment, a plus.
  • Fluency in a second language a plus.

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (CS).

  • 8 years experience with Active Server Pages (ASP).
  • 8 years experience writing JavaScript, HTML5, CSS and SVG.
