We are seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead all aspects of operations and production for its facilities in Scottsdale, Arizona.  This position will lead several existing Operations and Production teams as well as lead the planning and development of our Manufacturing structure and processes.

The ideal candidate is an experienced leader in operations and engineering management from a best-of-class manufacturing environment. He /she is highly motivated to create and manage a positive, efficient, and productive working environment and lead the team to produce Telemedicine devices and meet our performance, delivery, quality, cost and customer satisfaction objectives. He / she will work closely with several other member teams within the organization, to drive new product introduction, continuous product quality and process improvements, and cost reduction.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Making strategic and tactical decisions on the overall operation of the organization to meet quality, delivery, revenue and cost objectives, including: manufacturing / production, production control and planning, quality engineering, inventory and materials control, shipping and receiving and customer support.
  • Meeting quality targets as measured by in-process metrics.
  • Achieving inventory and cost targets, including scrap costs.
  • Managing the equipment and facilities in accordance to environmental and safety regulations

  • Participating in annual strategic planning activities with operations and management teams to set realistic, achievable, and quantifiable goals
  • Achieving strategic objectives set during the strategic planning cycle

  • Participate in activities at the Operations Group level, as required by senior management

Required Education & Experience

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Applied Physics, or other technical discipline or equivalent Manufacturing, hands-on experience
  • Must have at least 7 years of experience as a process engineer or key member of the operations team
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience as a leader of process engineering or operations manager managing a group of 10+ people, including exempt and non-exempt personnel.
  • Experience with the managing or oversight planning, production control, procurement, inventory and materials management, shipping and receiving and customer support
  • Experience with an ERP system preferred
  • Knowledge of the fundamentals of accounting and costing preferred
  • Must be familiar with the Windows operating systems and with the MS Office suite, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of an Engineering drawing package, such as AutoCad, SolidWorks, or SolidEdge is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication abilities (written, verbal) required

Sales Support Specialist

General Description

GlobalMed is currently looking for a detail oriented Sales Coordinator to join our team! In this key support role, this individual will provide holistic support to the Sales Team, which will include sales administrative support, clerical, administrative, and special project support. Director of Product Management

GlobalMed is hiring a Director of Product Management to serve as the Companies Sr. Product Leader. The successful individual will act as a cross-functional lead and client advocate for one or more solution offerings. He / She will have responsibilities for the full lifecycle planning of products.   • Solution Expert
  • Build and drive plans to achieve revenue and profit targets.
  • Thorough understanding and monitoring of Solution P&L, Customer Satisfaction, Competitive Landscape, and Win/Loss performance.
  • Responsible for identifying issues with the P&L, Delivery performance, or win rate and determine/prioritize/drive action plans to improve. Actions plans may include additions/changes to the “Solution Roadmap”, changes to delivery goals, or augmentation of delivery approach.
  • Responsible for ensuring customer proposals are complete, accurate, and positioned for the best possible outcome.
  • Solution Roadmap Owner
  • Discover unmet needs and opportunities in the market by interviewing customers, recent evaluators and untapped, potential customers. Validates needs and market potential.

Senior Staff Accountant

General Description

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Staff/Senior accountant will join the team as the department’s first staff level accountant due to the Company’s growth. Accordingly, this role will require a very hands-on approach by performing a broad range of accounting activities, including having a significant role in our month-end close, ownership of the general ledger, revenue accounting, technical accounting, payroll accounting, policies and procedures and process improvements.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Primary responsibility is to prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to the monthly close schedule.
  • Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures.
  • Analyze revenues, commissions and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
  • Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances.
  • Assist with financial and tax audits.
  • Assist with preparing tax return support and corporate reporting requirements.

Qualification Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of staff accountant experience, ideally with manufacturing and/or product orientated organization
  • Account reconciliation experience of balance sheet and income statement
  • Hands on computer experience with general ledger accounting system is a must
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel is required
  • CPA is preferred, but not required

Essential Functions

  • Reports to Chief Medical Officer and works to review develop and refine clinical content for all GlobalMed services and products. Involved in Quality assessment and CQI within the clinical scope.
  • Provides leadership in the development, implementation and evaluation of workflow patterns for clinical integration of the software platform into hospital and clinical sites. Works with the Chief Technology Officer to design best in class and functional solutions for integrated products that improve clinical efficiencies and operations.
  • Works with the VP of Business Development, marketing and sales in responding to RFP’s performing client demo’s and sales calls. Presentation, speaking and client engagement activities as needed to promote product deployments.
  • Manages the Education Department to ensure that all training protocols including: client site training, virtual training and online learning management system, are clinically relevant and appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BSN or MSN required
  • Must possess a strong knowledge of healthcare as normally obtained through the completion of a Master’s degree in nursing or healthcare administration, as normally demonstrated through 5-7 years of progressive care management experience. Requires demonstrated experience leading and/or managing strategic clinical operations. Requires strong written and oral communication skills. Must demonstrate strong decision-making and critical thinking skills along with the ability to lead change.
  • Good technical IT, database, EMR or Practice Management systems skills desirable but not mandatory. Nursing Informatics training preferred.

Trainer/Telemedicine Specialist

General Description

The Trainer/telemedicine Specialist will perform installation, troubleshooting and repairs of audio-visual based integration systems within hospital environment.  Beyond performing upgrades, this role will be responsible for basic training on the devices as needed.  This will require a road warrior, typically coming home on weekends and likely traveling out of state about 80-90% of the time.  Additionally, when not performing installations, this individual will go onsite to conduct full training sessions on GlobalMed’s products and services.

Main Responsibilities

  • As a customer facing role, responsible for achieving customer satisfaction in the installation process by meeting established deadlines as well as quality and efficiency standards.
  • Follow technical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, document upgrades and repairs according to quality standards.
  • Travel domestically, 90% of the time, mostly 5 days a week.
  • Conduct training (in person and online) for small groups of medical professionals on use of medical equipment and devices.
  • Continued demonstration of competence in technical installation and service of AV and data communications systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex audio, visual, switching and control system when situations arise that are not expected.
  • Develop a collaborative relationship with customers.

Required Skills

  • Solid understanding of audio visual, display and video conferencing equipment, applications and functionality.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with small groups of people, both in person and online.
