How Transportable Exam Station Works
Arrive and Open
Simply roll the case to your field location and unlatch. Tablet and integrated devices are secured and ready.
Power On
System auto-detects the strongest available connection, whether Wi-Fi, cellular, or SATCOM; no manual network configuration is needed.
Connect to the Remote Specialist
Launch eNcounter® and begin a live consultation. The remote specialist sees diagnostic data in real time as you operate the patient's devices.
Documentation Happens Automatically
All clinical data flows directly into your EHR. No need for manual entry, even in the most austere of environments.
Swap and Continue
If the battery runs low mid-consultation, hot-swap to a fresh battery with zero friction or downtime.
Success Story
Colombian Armada Brings Specialist Care to Antarctica
Specialist care, 700 miles from shore.
When the Colombian Armada set sail for Antarctica aboard the ARC Simón Bolívar, its medical team deployed GlobalMed's Transportable Exam Station to maintain specialist-level care in one of the world's most remote environments. The TES connected ship medics directly to the Naval Hospital in Cartagena, enabling real-time ECGs, otoscope imaging, and synchronous specialist consultations across thousands of miles. It marked the first telemedicine deployment of its kind on the continent, with expedition medical lead Dr. Jorge Velez calling it "a beautiful opportunity to plant seeds to establish an Antarctica telemedicine network."
