We continue to work directly with the WHMU team including a recent core training program where we taught the use of ultrasound technology in mobile and austere clinical settings in partnership with the Global Society for Disaster Medicine and Harvard Medical School.
Federal Bureau of Prisons
Federal inmates serving time in Federal prisons time at correctional facilities are treated virtually by providers using GlobalMed solutions. In addition, over 15 states have implemented GlobalMed solutions in their correctional facilities reporting expansion and positive ROI in several telemedicine specialties and look to GlobalMed as their primary telehealth partner and subject matter expert.
U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
GlobalMed telehealth solutions have been implemented in every VA hospital across the U.S. and in some extension service centers, including teleaudiology to tackle the nearly 60%+ veterans with hearing issues. A new telemedicine program for veterans featuring GlobalMed technology was launched in 2017 at the White House Roosevelt Room. North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO)
GlobalMed solutions were chosen by NATO for disaster response and humanitarian crises. To put our remote care products to the test, they conducted a field exercise test in the Ukraine where they created a mock disaster from an explosion at a manufacturing plant, complete with field tents, treating patients by successfully connecting to physicians and care providers in other locations.
