An audiologist in a virtual health setting can utilize the eNcounter® software platform paired with AMTAS Flex software to conduct remote diagnostic or screening hearing tests for patients. A clinician will guide patients through a hearing test on any tablet or desktop computer paired with headphones through AMTAS Flex software. After the exam, a report is generated for the patient and the audiologist via eNcounter®. At this point, the audiologist can diagnose and consult with the patient on the next steps. Lastly, the report can be transmitted from eNcounter® directly into the patient’s record to ensure that readiness status is updated in support of mission needs.
